Focus on daily wage workers, safety, respect (mariyadhai), and sustainable livelihoods.

City Beautification

Restructuring bazaar areas, clearing waste dump sites, improving infrastructure, installation of sculptures in public places & parks, to transform Virudhunagar into Singara Virudhunagar.

Water Security

Revive Koushika River, ponds/ tanks through expert desilting, pollution control, and de-encroachment for reliable water supply, irrigation, and groundwater recharge.

Civic Participation

Strengthening existing community organizations, conduct volunteering activities & programs and building educational clubs for governance and service delivery.

Local Economic Revival

Implement targeted strategies to attract major industries, foster small-scale businesses, and revive the textile sector via a comprehensive revival mechanism.

Humble Beginnings

Born into a lower middle class, Tamil Nadu family, Keerthana Sampath struggled her way up with resilience, perseverance and a go-getter attitude.

30-Day Miracle

In just 30 days, through crowd-funding and public support in Agasan village, Thane (Maharashtra), she mobilized resources to build a library and sports playground — finding viable solutions for long ignored issues.

Governance Experience

With the experience of working with three of the most popular Chief Ministers, Keerthana Sampath gained first hand experience and valuable insights into governance, leadership and people-centric problem solving.

Returning to Her Roots

Now returning to her own soil in Virudhunagar, she is contesting to be the voice of the voiceless — with a clear mission to fix everyday realities: jobs after education, women's safety, fair wages, farmers' incomes, clean rivers, organized markets, good roads, drinking water, sanitation, and modern industries. She aims to create history by breaking Virudhunagar’s political glass ceiling and as a symbol of daughters of Virudhunagar entering into policy making.
